What’s New at Northtown?

Located in the rolling terrain of Cabantian, Buhangin District, Northtown is the first-ever township by Alsons Properties, the premier brand of Alsons Dev, Davao City’s largest homegrown real estate developer.

Master-planned by renowned Architect Felino “Jun” Palafox of Palafox Associates, Northtown merges modern suburban living with the tranquility of nature. Aside from various amenities, it will feature commercial establishments, a mid-rise condominium, emergency response, and other conveniences within the township.

Today, our vision is steadily coming together. Here’s our latest update and a sneak peek at upcoming developments:

Keeping everything close together This year, we completed four of the eight parks in Phase 1. Landscape work for two others is ongoing and will be finished by the end of 2017. The two remaining parks are due to be completed next year.

Meanwhile, construction for Northtown’s sprawling 2.5-hectare clubhouse complex, dubbed “The Club,” is underway and will be completed in 2018:

• Welcome Pavilion: Completed

• 250- seating capacity Main Pavilion: 88% completed

• Wellness Pavilion: Commencing soon

• Swimming Pool and Cabaña: Complete by end of 2018

• Badminton, tennis, covered basketball courts, and soccer field: Completed by 2019

• The strategically located parks and amenities will ensure that residents are never more than five minutes away from places of interest. This is in keeping with Alsons Properties’ promise to make all shared spaces in Northtown easily accessible. Streamlined access points. Northtown’s Tigatto entrance will be completed this October 2017. This gate cuts down travel time to J.P. Laurel business district, as it is only 20 minutes away. It also provides a short route to Waan Bridge, which leads to Ma-a and Matina in just 15 to 20 minutes.

A third entrance, a new access point that will lead residents to the Buhangin-Diversion junction in 15 minutes, is also in the works along with a provision for future interconnections between Northtown and Northcrest. Through the Northcrest gate, residents will enjoy quicker access to major highways such as Diversion Road and J.P. Laurel Avenue.

On to the next phase

Great news for Northtown lot owners: as of September 2017, Phase 1 of the development is 85% complete and is now ready for homebuilding.

With this steady progress, lots in new areas of Northtown will be offered starting this October. The new lots will feature parks, a playground, and an abundance of breathable spaces.
