DAMOSA LAND EYES TO BREAK GROUND FOR SAMAL PROJECT IN Q3

DAMOSA Land, Inc. (DLI) targets to break ground for their Samal community development project by the third quarter of the year.

DLI president Ricardo Floirendo Lagdameo, during the weekly media forum at Habi at Kape at Abreeza Ayala Malls, said apart from their real estate developments in the city, they are looking forward for a mixed-use development to begin on the third quarter of the year in Kaliglig, Samal.

"There will be a residential component and a commercial component. Hopefully we can put up a hotel later on," said Lagdameo. The development is a 12-hectare property where they also plan to put up Maritime Industry Authority (Marina).

"We are especially happy that our projects relate to new investments coming in to Davao and do accolades and other ways how we can help promote the city and region in a way that we want to. Hopefully the people of Davao will be proud of it as well," he said.

Also, last May 4, DLI won the award for being the Best Residential Develop in Davao for their Damosa Fairline development during the recently concluded 5th Annual Property Guru Philippines Property Awards 2017. The awarding was organized by the Asia-based online property group, Property Guru Group.

The same development was also commended to be the Best Residential Landscape Architectural Design. "I guess what made it special is because for the past years these awards were won by some of the larger national companies.

For us, it would be nice to see Davao's local home-grown companies in the world. Another thing that we're proud of is that when we look at the roster of the winners for all the other awards, there were pretty big names," Lagdameo said.
