CEBU LandMasters, Inc., a real estate company based in Cebu, announced that around 80 percent of the 22-storey MesaTierra Garden Residences has already been sold even before its scheduled groundbreaking on May this year.
"The response has been overwhelming," said Jose Franco Soberano, the Chief Operations Officer of Cebu LandMasters, during the MessaTierra Residences launch on Monday, March 20 at the Sarangani Hall, Marco Polo Hotel.
He added that most of those who bought units from them are Overseas Filipino Workers and local buyers. Most of the units sold are one-bedroom types.
Jose Soberano III, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cebu LandMasters, Inc., said they owe the fast selling of the units to the good location that their partner, Frederick Yuson, President and CEO of Yuson Commercial Investments, had picked for the project.
Soberano also said their very affordable pricing targeted for those in the middle-income bracket also contributed to the success in the selling of units. Situated at Emilion Jacinto Extention, Davao City, MesaTierra Garden Residences is a condominium project by Cebu Landmasters and Yuson Commercial Investments under a joint venture (JV) with Yuson Commercial Investments.
The JV, Yuson Excellence Soberano was announced last September 2016. “This is one of those very successful, highly in-demand residential condo which puts emphasis on the environment and captures the demand preferences of the market that we are targeting. That is why results so far of our marketing efforts speak for itself,” Soberano said, adding that their garden series residences cater to those in the middle-income bracket.
The residential building, with 694 units and 259 parking spaces, boasts of the convenient location it has near hospitals, banks, schools, malls, and other major establishments.
“We wanted to create a lifestyle of living within urban setting, within a green enclave, and experiencing what really is in the middle of the city but experiencing very generous open and green areas,” said Architect Mike Torres, Chief Operating Officer and President of Archiglobal Inc. Units are available in studio and one-bedroom types at 22 square meters (sqm) and 45.50 sqm respectively.
Studio units are priced between P1.6 to 2.5 million while its 1-bedroom units are available between P3.3 to 4 million. The downpayment is as low as P15,000 with as low as P6,000 to P8,000 per month payment good for 30 months.
Soberano III said they also allow integration of the studio type units for bigger space depending on the preference of the customers. MesaTierra Garden Residences, targeted to be completed by 2020, also has garden-inspired amenities such as landscaped areas, sky garden, spa pool, welcome pavilion, veranda, fitness gym, and jogging trails among others. The ground breaking of the condominium is slated on May this year.
The construction of the showroom will also be on the same month.
